This course is eligible for one hour of CE/CME for MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, LPNs, LVNs, Social Workers, and Long Term Care Administrators.
This session will offer tools for self-care that use sensory input to calm the nervous system and create self-regulation and healing. The senses are gateways between the external and internal worlds and by being aware of sensory input and using the proper sensory input we can directly impact the nervous system to create healing. We will review the mechanisms of action behind using senses for healing and provide accessible tools for both caregivers and patients.
