Dr. Hilliard has been a hospice worker for over 30 years, providing social work and music therapy for patients and families. He has led hospice agencies and served many roles in leadership capacities. His research has been published in a variety of scholarly journals, and he has authored books on end of life care topics. He is a worldwide speaker on various healthcare topics and maintains a small private psychotherapy practice.
